Obi-Wan and Anakin are both stranded on a hostile planet after their ship has crashed while investigating a distress signal… Kanan has awoken from his coma, and sets out to rescue his friends from the Empire on Kaller… Led by Ashoka Tano, the Jedi have left Phoenix Squadron and set out for Malachor in hope to gain the knowledge to defeat the Inquisitors… This is a HUUUUUUUGE week for Star Wars fans.
The two Jedi stranded on Carnelion IV have been forced to work with two rivals to survive on the hostile planet. Neither faction knows of the Jedi, but they are both intrigued by the fact that a distress signal was sent from the planet. All technology like that had been thought to be long lost… the two factions – Open and Closed – work together to help Obi-Wan and Anakin find what they are looking for.
Kanan has now awoken from his coma, and just helped the Rebels escape from the planet Kaller, having just narrowly escaped the Stormtroopers who captured them. They have one last bit of business to attend to before returning to the growing Rebellion. This is the final issue of the 12 part Kanan series.
In the 2 part / 42 minute finale of the second season of Star Wars Rebels, the three Jedi – Kanan, Ezra and Ashoka – venture away from Pheonix Squadron and arrive on the planet of Malachor in search of answers. They have been sent here by Yoda to discover answers that will help them defeat the Sith and the Inquisitors who continue to hunt them.

The two Jedi are still stranded on the planet Carnelion IV. Obi-Wan and Anakin are still searching for the distress signal that brought them to this war-torn planet. They have enlisted the help of two warriors from different factions – open and closed – and with their help are crossing the Celadon sea in a flying fortress. These two factions were willing to destroy each other until they realized what the Jedi were searching for… neither believed the technology to sent off world messages existed anymore, so they put aside their differences to help discover what is going on.
